Real-time data collection – near-real-time data mirror

Making company data available in real time – securely, in a consolidated format and in compliance with the GDPR.

The near-real-time data mirror, based on Change Data Capture (CDC), provides a central, system-independent data access platform through which you can make your information from various systems available easily, quickly and securely – as a data stream or database. Changes are continuously recorded and transmitted in near real time. This allows you to maintain an up-to-date overview at all times, without having to access complex source systems. As an independent data processor, we ensure that your data is managed responsibly, with client-specific security and in compliance with the GDPR. Interfaces and downstream systems can be connected directly – without the need for additional modifications to the source system. This reduces integration effort, saves time and cuts costs.

Requirements for a near-real-time data mirror

Current events

Changes to data must be recorded continuously and transmitted almost in real time.

System decoupling

Source systems must not be overburdened or altered by integrations or analyses.

Safety

Data must be transmitted and stored in encrypted form – with clearly defined access policies.

Multi-client capability

Different data sets must be managed separately and securely.

GDPR compliance

Processing, storage and access must comply with the applicable data protection requirements.

Scalability

The platform must be able to integrate growing volumes of data and additional systems without any problems.

Ability to integrate

BI, CRM, OEM, AI and backup systems must be easy to integrate.

Traceability

Changes and data flows must be documented transparently.

Operational safety

High availability, monitoring and stable performance must be ensured at all times.

FAQ

What is real-time data transmission?

With real-time data transmission, data from various source systems is consolidated and made available almost in real time. Changes are continuously recorded and transmitted, ensuring that an up-to-date overview of your data is available at all times – without the need for further intervention in existing systems.

Do I need to adapt my existing systems for integration?

A change data capture (CDC) mechanism is installed in the source system. In modern relational databases, this is often already included as standard and simply needs to be activated. The data mirror then operates completely independently of your source systems. This means that only a few adjustments or interventions are required. Your existing systems remain stable whilst data is made available in parallel.

What is Change Data Capture, and what advantages does it offer over full data extracts?

Change Data Capture (CDC) automatically identifies which records have changed and transfers only those changes to downstream systems in real time. Compared with full data extracts, CDC is significantly more efficient, uses fewer resources and minimises the latency between a data change and its availability in the target system.

Which systems can be connected to the real-time data transmission system?

The real-time data transmission technology can be flexibly integrated and enables direct connection to BI, CRM, OEM, AI and backup systems. This allows data to be used efficiently for analysis, partner solutions or other applications.
